  7.   The EtherLink II TP adapter has six options that control data transmission 
  8.   on the physical medium.  These options are set by moving jumpers on the
  9.   adapter. 
  10.  
  11.   This file contains information that will help you set these options so that
  12.   the EtherLink II TP adapter will work correctly with both 10BASE-T and 
  13.   non-10BASE-T hubs.  For more detailed information, refer to the
  14.   EtherLink II TP Adapter Guide.

  16.   NOTE: This file applies only to the EtherLink II TP adapter. For 
  17.         information on the EtherLink II/16 TP Adapter, please refer
  18.         to the EtherLink II/16 TP Adapter Guide.

  21.   Wire Impedance

  24.   Set the WIRE IMPEDANCE jumpers to match the characteristic impedance of your
  25.   cable.

  27.   Use a standard test device to verify the characteristic impedance of your 
  28.   cable from the wiring closet to the station.  Use the 100-ohms setting if
  29.   you are connecting to standard 10BASE-T wiring.
